1969 Camaro SS 396/4-speed (Cowl tag X66 code-01C/built 3rd week of January 1969, Norwood, Ohio), Car was originally Lemans blue and is now Garnet red, Vin# 124379N585XXX, original power steering & power front disc brakes. Tilt steering wheel.

Rally Sport (RS) option installed shortly after purchase, with Detroit Speed & Engineering (DSE) Electronic headlight door louvers.

Interior: Original except for new headliner, carpet & dash pad. Speedometer is original, with accurate original mileage. New pillar post pads & sail panels recovered. New package tray, new dome light assembly.
Exterior Paint & body: Body stripped all the way to metal and refinished in Garnet red. Completed August 2011 (all photos available)
New windshield and rear window installed (old glass pitted beyond appearance standards)
All new rubber seals & gaskets installed during restoration

Front suspension completely rebuilt-all powder coated, including upper/lower A-arms, tie-rod ends, steering link, sway bar, coil springs, etc.

Major components: all top shelf internals, Dart Big M 4-bolt iron block, Eagle forged steel crank, Eagle forged steel H-beam rods, TRW aluminum single valve relief pistons, Competition Cams hydraulic roller camshaft, Comp Cams steel roller rocker arms, Melling high volume oil pump, Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum rectangular port heads, Weiand Stealth aluminum intake, forged steel GM 21# flywheel w/heat treated ring gear, Weiand aluminum water pump, Milodon oil pan, Fel-Pro gasket set.
Transmission/rear-end/clutch: Tremec TKO-600 5-speed trans w/Hurst shifter handle, Moser GM 12-bolt 3.73 posi-traction rear end, custom steel drive shaft with heavy duty U-joints, McLeod RST Twin-disc clutch, GM 621 heavy-duty Aluminum bell housing, new 5-leaf heavy duty leaf springs w/new bushings
Exhaust: Hooker Competition headers with Hi-Temp coating, mandrel bent full 3” exhaust with Dyna-Flow muffers
Fuel/Ignition system: MSD Atomic Electronic fuel injection, new fuel tank with Walbro internal high pressure fuel pump, MSD 6AL Electronic ignition system, MSD Distributor w/MSD Street Fire ignition wires, new 160 amp alternator
Cooling: Champion Aluminum 4-row radiator with Spal Dual 11” high speed fans, thermostatically controlled.
